Peru is famous for Coast, Andes and Amazon. The Republic of Peru is a country located in western part of South America, bordered with Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile. It is the third largest and fifth most populous country in South America; but the poverty rate is high, it’s more than 25%. People of Peru are more friendly, helpful and peaceful. Machu Picchu
It is also called as ‘the lost city of the Incas’ that situated at Andes Mountains of Peru. It is very famous and mostly ruined ancient cities of the world; however its flora and fauna is amazing. There are several ways to reach at Machu Picchu hilltop; Inca Trail is the most popular trek in Peru. In 1983 it is declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Daily thousand visitors travel Machu Picchu; however it is a govt. restriction to not permit more than 2500 people in a day.
Colca Canyon
It is one of the top tourist destinations of Peru that situates in southern area of the country. It is popular for one of the deepest canyons in the world. This valley is very old, around 6000 years old that is mostly known for hunting and gathering. One can go here to enjoy the cool and dry climate of scenic beauty, fun with adventurous sports, to see varieties of animals, birds and giant Andean terraces, to get pleasure from the local culture, archaeological and other activities. Staying and touring in this place is highly recommended. You will get lot of good places to stay there or nearby.
Iquitos – Amazon
Iquitos is the capital city of Loreto that covers most parts of Amazon, due to which millions of visitors comes here every year for boating, touring and wildlife viewing. The best part of travelling to Peru is boating on Amazon and watching wildlife such as anacondas, boas, alligators, monkeys, snakes, tarantulas, etc.
