Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games | Indians on dope test

The XXI Commonwealth Games, 2018 will be held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, from 4th to 15th April 2018. Australia is going to host Commonwealth for the fifth time in its history. There are total 71 countries participating in total 19 sports and 275 events are going to be held in 2018 Commonwealth Games at Australia.

Sri Lanka and Australia were the bidding nations to organize 2018 Commonwealth; Australia won the bid with 43 votes, whereas Sri Lanka with 27 votes.

One day before the CWG, while arriving at Athletes village, all the Indian sportspersons were asked to give their urine sample for dope testing. The Syringegate sting turns really awkward and ugly to the Indians. As India has 219 athletes for this CWG, the Australian Anti-doping officials warned their organizers to spot them and test them before entering their rooms.

An Indian coach said Athletes needs complete rest after a long flight journey. However, immediately after arriving the dope test by Australia made embarrassment to all. It is because of one boxer, the whole nation is being looked with suspicion.
