H-1B Visa application process begins; ‘zero tolerance errors’ says US Govt. The US Government today began accepting applications for the H-1B visa with unprecedented scrutiny. The US Congress has mandated a limit of H-1B visas up to 65,000 per each fiscal year.
As many technology companies require tens of thousands employees each year from India like countries, US started accepting H-1B visas now onwards with a price hike to $6,000 per application. However, the skilled and professional Indians has to come across some exceptional scrutiny like last five-year phone records, social media records, emails, job profile, company profile and many more during visa interview and stamping on the passport.
As per the report, many talented, professional, qualified and skilled Americans are unemployed due to wage breakup and opportunities given to foreign employees. Employers who ignore the H-1B visa program may negatively affect US employees.
