IPL 2018: Rajnikanth says its embarrassment when Cauvery Protests on in Chennai

On the 11^th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), on Saturday Chennai Super Kings (CSK) kicked off Mumbai Indians (MI) in its first match at Mumbai. And on 10^th April 2018, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is going to meet Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium at Chennai City. However, on other-side Chennai is on protests for Cauvery River water issue and Rajnikanth says, it’s really ‘embarrassment’ that the city is hosting Cricket matches (IPL) during such a vital program.

Superstar & Politician Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan along with Dhanush, Vijay, Surya, Nassar, Sathyaraj and many more Tamil actors assembled in Chennai to protest the delay in setting up of the Cauvery Management Board as directed by Supreme Court. Rajnikanth says the CSK players must wear a black ribbon or bands on their hands to support or to register in this protest. (As per NDTV Reports)

In addition, on coming Tuesday the ruling AIADMK going to conduct hunger strike, for accusing the central government, for not forming the Cauvery Management Board; as declared by AIADMK.
