Bihar Governor Sri Satya Pal Malik today evening gets additional charge of Odisha. Odisha High Court Chief Justice Vineet Sharan administered the oath-taking ceremony of Sri Malik at Raj Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. The process was followed by a declaration of selection letter by Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhy. Malik will remain in charge as a Governor of Odisha until regular arrangements are made up of.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Leader of Opposition Narasingh Mishra, other legislative ministers, and senior officials were present during the occasion. Malik was given a guard of honor at the Raj Bhawan.
