Major Tourist Attractions in Hyderabad, India

Hyderabad is the capital city of Andhra Pradesh state of India. It is lies on the bank of river Musi. It is a top domestic tourist destination of India also known as Pearl City. The city was ruled by Qutub Shahs, Mughals and Nizams. There are so many monuments which attracts the tourists and visitors. We can find so many traditional & historical Bazaars around the city. There are a lot of temples & mosques in Hyderabad, where devotees or visitors comes from throughout the world. It is a large metropolitan city of India. Some of the major tourist locations are described here below:

Charminar: 

Char-Minar (Four Pillars) is a land mark monument of Hyderabad. Charminar is made up of granite, lime mortar and pulverized marvel. These are four ornate minarets attached and supported by four grand arches, which dominating the surrounding. Charminar is the center of Hyderabadi culture and symbol of Andhra Pradesh Tourism. It has become a global icon of Hyderabad. There are 14000 shops in Charminar market, Lad Bazaar and Pathar Gatt market; famous for jewelry, bangles, and pearls. 

 

Golkonda fort: 

Golkonda is the most popular monument in Hyderabad. It was the capital of ancient kingdom of Golkonda; during c.1364 to 1512. The 13th century Golkonda Fort was built by Kakatiya kings. It is made up by marvelous granite hills which height is 400 feet; surrounded by 5km circumference of ram pacts and the area complex is about 11km. Golkonda fort became a prime heritage attraction of India. The light and sound show is the supreme attraction in Golkonda fort that has been started recently.

 

Ramoji film city: 

The Ramoji Film city is world’s largest integrated film studio situated in India. The 2000 acre film city is located at Hayathnagar in Hyderabad. It is also a tourist attraction, honeymoon center and recreation center with natural and artificial attractions including amusement parks. The Ramoji Film City is the highest film producing center of Asia.

 

Birla Temple: 

Birla Temple, Hyderabad, India
Situated in the center of Hyderabad city on Naubath Pahad, Birla temple is the prime tourist spot for every visitor. The temple is famous for the 11ft Lord Balaji sculpture, which is made up of black granite. The spectacular panoramic view of twin city Hyderabad and Secunderabad is viewable from Birla temple. The nearest locations or tourist spots nearby Birla temple are Lumbini Park, Hussain Sagar or Tank Bund, PVR Cinema etc.
