What is Human Growth Hormone?

Human Growth Hormones are produced from the pituitary glands situated in the center of our brain. The hormone is a protein type named as somatrophin which carries 191 amino acids found mostly in children and youths mostly. The HGH stimulates the liver and other tissues to rouse bone and muscle. The hormones are highly secreted during teenaged time; when it helps to grow body parts and enhance the intellect, physical energy, bone and muscle growth, tissues, metabolism etc. After the age of forty, normally it reduces processing and secreting due to lack of physical and mental exercises. During 20s a body produces 500 micrograms of HGH per day; which reduces to 200 micrograms per day in 40s and 25 micrograms in 80s.


The excess production of HGH could causes to thicken in fingers, toes and jaws, body and muscle weaknesses, reduces sex power, possibilities of type II diabetes and anything more. The excess secretion of HGH is caused due to any malfunction of tumours in pituitary glands. However it is rarely happen to children or youths; may cause after fifties; which can be treated with the help of focused radiations or pegvisomant, a GH antagonist used to stop the malfunction or to shrink the tumour.  

Or else, deficiency of growth hormones causes to growth failure or short physique in children. Growth hormone deficiency may causes due to genetic disorder or congenital problems. It can be treated with some major diagnosis on the pituitary glands and by providing a range of HGH supplements in diet.
