Denver the largest capital city of Colorado U.S. The city was founded in the year 1858 and named after its first Governor James W. Denver. It is one of the highest economic centers of United States. The city consists of many financial and corporate houses and tallest commercial & residential buildings. There are a lot to see here; however I’ve explained the top five tourist attractions of Denver:

2. Red Rocks Amphitheater

Opened in the year 1906 it is an open-air amphitheater located in Red Rocks Park of Denver. As per American Institute of Architect it was selected for the National Gallery of Art of Colorado; in addition it was awarded eleven times for best small outdoor venue by Polistar magazine. The theater is a large, tilted & disc shaped rock standing behind it, where 9,450 people can seat at a time.
3. 16th Street Mall

The two kilometer long pedestrian and transit mall is very famous in Colorado and Denver. The street surrounded with more than three hundred local stores, over fifty restaurants and pavilions. The street always busy with lot of fun and entertaining activities, such as music shows, dance programs and other different cultural activities throughout the year.
4. Denver Botanic Gardens

The 23 acre public garden is situated in the Cheesman Park nearby Denver, Colorado; which hosts many summer concerts every year. It also hosts yoga and meditation classes on schedule basis. It is the largest plant collection garden in North America; which has four parts such as york street, mordecai children’s garden, chatfield and mount goliath. This is one of the best educational, research basic and inspirable locations for tourists.
5. Elitch Gardens Theme Park

Opened in the year 1890 it is an amusement park opened in late April to the end of October. There are thirty rides, nine roller coasters and six water riders in this park. It is a complete entertainment park for all age group people; where you can dine, shop and lodge there. The park also hosts private parties, birthday parties, school or education camps, events and many more.
The other tourist attractions in Denver are Lumber Baron Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, The Dinner Detective, Black Hawk, Cherry Creek, Colorado State Capitol, Lower Downtown, The Molly Brown House Museum, and many others. Denver Art Museum, Denver Zoo and Denver Museum of Nature & Science are also must seen in Denver.
